Fort Wayne is home to Indiana's largest shopping destination - Glenbrook Square, with four department stores and over 175 speciality stores. For a change in pace, Jefferson Pointe features trendy eateries and a Mediterranean atmosphere. The Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory is another big attraction here, with lush seasonal displays; wander through the Tropical Garden, where orchids and palms thrive.

Metea County Park abounds in outdoor beauty; here, visitors can enjoy playgrounds, baseball, picnicking, jogging, tennis, basketball, and wandering around the great outdoors.
By car, the city is accessed via I-69. Amtrak links the greater Fort Wayne area with the rest of the US via convenient daily passenger trains. Greyhound Lines serves the city and has an extensive service throughout the state. Fort Wayne International Airport is served by a host of carriers with direct non-stop flights to and from: Atlanta, Chicago O'Hare, Cincinnati, Dallas, Detroit, Indianapolis, Nashville, Pittsburgh and St Louis.
